Necktie Drawings

So, every morning students come into a drawing assignment that they use to enhance their drawing skills.  My father was getting rid of a bunch of his neck ties so I said I would take them and do something with them.  I thought it would be a great opportunity for my students to learn to draw fabric.  They focused in on drawing using the value scale as well as using tinting and shading with their color choices.  Students could position their tie in any way that they wanted so as to achieve this.
