Students looked at various forms of fashion and wearable art in this unit of study. They looked at Nick Cave's work and his soundsuits as artist inspiration. Students were then challenged to create their own form of wearable art, choosing one of the following categories as a jumping off point. The categories included: natural wearable art, recycled wearable art, functional wearable art, and uncommon wearable art. This is what 3rd through 5th graders created.
